Not at all. It’s a priority list. They're all going up there and I shall then rule unopposed while nature reclaims the planet

I don't eat biscuits often enough to mind living without them

Fox's Classic. It's what all biscuits should aspire to be.

If you're doing Fox's, got to be the full selection box.

Japan has shot right up my "countries that get launched into the sun like a frisbee once I am Emperor" league after reading that. Just outside the top 5. Good thing I didn't mention the potato.

Yeah, I've looked at places like that before, but balked at the shipping costs. I guess I could just buy a year's supply at once. On the plus side, I lost a ton of weight after leaving the UK.
I also noticed the last time that I was back in the UK that I couldn't even eat a lot of my previous fave cakes etc.. because they were insanely sweet.
Imho Japanese bakeries are generally pretty poor... but I guess if the only thing to compare them to is Greggs then they kinda win by default Except that they keep putting fucking mayonnaise on the pizza. That's a crime that deserves to burn in hell. Why do you rate the bakeries as poor? I'm curious as we had lots of stuff like Curry Bread, pastries and insanely fluffy and delicious cakes. The cheesecakes in places like this was amazing:

Markies biscuits are the fucking tits though. At work we quite often buy the blue box chocolate ones. There's as much chocolate as there is biscuit half the time. After a couple my nose starts sweating.

Why do you rate the bakeries as poor? I'm curious as we had lots of stuff like Curry Bread, pastries and insanely fluffy and delicious cakes. The cheesecakes in places like this was amazing: Probably mainly because of being a winging pom There are definitely great bakeries around, but those tend to be the pricier ones that you go to on occasion (or when you're on vacation). There are lots of little local ones around, which is nice to have, but they tend to be much more average. They're the ones you're likely to go to more regularly if you live here though. I think the main issue is that they tend to use oil instead of butter. (butter is insanely overpriced here due to some dumb government quota system). Which tends to leave a lot of the pastries a bit oily and lacking in taste. I mean, I eat a fair number of Curry Pans, but I wouldn't call them great. They're the equivalent of eating a sandwich from a Tesco Metro. They are a threat to my weight loss however When I came back to the UK on vacation, I had a lot of really delicious cakes/deserts in local cafes and tea shops, other than the aforementioned issue of a lot of them being too sweet for me now. But when I was living in the UK I was rarely going to places like that, and mainly grabbing stuff from Greggs or Tesco metro. It's probably the equivalent of that.
