My love of Street Fighter actually even increased (were such a thing possible) when I learned that Van Damme was just out his face on gear the whole time and the rest of the cast fucking hated him.
Also: Raul Julia, what an absolute legend.

I've actually been meaning to watch Street Fighter again, just to see how bad/good it really was. The "It was Tuesday" line is a classic.

MEEEEEEE!" He knew exactly what film he was in, and it's glorious. He's up there with Palpatine and Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin in terms of just scenery-chewing pantomime evil. He's fab in the Addams Family movies too. |

Just saw the trailer. I’m not unimpressed. I think with any video game movie the best thing is to forget about the game and enjoy it for what it is. He says “Aw Crap!” and falls out a plane. That’s entertaining no matter what it is.
Also Holland-man has abs for days. He needs to set a course to Greggs.

It is incredible how generic it is, it looks so glossy and fake, almost like a TV production and there isn't even a semblance of a practical effect in that trailer. Sony once again really proving they don't have much going on in the movie department.

If you changed the films name to 'Treasure Punch' and called the main guy 'Jack Adventure' It pretty much looks like an Amazon Prime tier movie.

I think it’s exactly that, they’ve tried to make it look glossy just like Marvel movies The casting of Drake is only an issue if you’ve played the game. From a £££££ perspective it’s a very savvy decision, and that’s all that matters for mass market / Marvel type content |

The makers of the Prince of Persia 'cinematic adaptation' must have their fingers crossed. If an even worse game to movie adaptation comes out and someone else can take the heat instead.

PoP wasn't that bad, it was just a bit boring. Mortal Kombat 2 has to be the worst video game adaption I've seen.

I would say Silent Hill Revelations is bloody awful in practically every respect, but like a lot of horror can be appreciated for imagery and imaginative touches.

As I mentioned before, I liked PoP. MK2 and the new one are pretty bad. Vikander Raider was awful. The Resis are not good (great soundtracks though). I haven't seen the Uwe Boll films, but didn't people hate all of his films?

Bloodrayne was absolute shite, though the actors and sets all looked the part. It is one of those where you would hope a half decent director could have made it work. Not as in a great film, but passable.
I think the first Pokémon film was pretty decent. Must have got a speck of dust in my eye when Pikachu got all teary.

Come on, New MK is nowhere near the worst game movie. That's crazy talk.
The second MK or the latter Resi movies are up there as the worst imo.
This trailer looks fun. Both main characters horribly miscast though. Will see how that ends up. Drake is a funny sarky cunt. Does Holland have that in his locker?
