Long time old forum lurker, thought I'd sign up to share this nugget of fun
My wife is an executive recruitment consultant, and works from home. We share an office, so I hear all her tedious calls and group meetings.
I've always, whenever she's talking about CEO and high level people, used the "Rodger X, president of x" to discuss the person, as I don't really care what some overpaid exec has to say about anything.
Up until today, I figured she realised it was just a stupid thing I said, until I over heard her talking to a colleague about corporations, and she casually drops the fact that Rodger Sony used to be president of Sony into an actual business meeting
I am crying with laughter. I expect I'll be getting an earful later
