Started Atelier Ryza on my Switch yesterday after finishing Metroid Dread and fancying a complete change of pace. I'm enjoying it so far, seems really chilled out, but with a fairly complex crafting system to get stuck into.
I know this is a massive long-running series but I've never played any of them, and Ryza seemed like a good place to start.
Liked it so much in the few hours I played that I ordered the sequel. Anyone else like this series, and have any tips or recommendations?

The Atelier series is pretty consistent so if you like one you'll generally get on with the others. They do change the balance between alchemy/crafting and RPG slightly between each grouping of games but you know what you're getting when you buy an Atelier game, excepting Nelke which is more of a management/sim game.
