Again, don’t watch womens football generally, but based on this I don’t see why any changes would be required. Seems to work absolutely fine, and why wouldn’t it?

I think the best thing that can happen to the women’s game in England is we see more clubs invest so that we have more than a dozen professional teams in the country.
The professional sides in the WSL play some excellent stuff and even so do some of the semi-pros in the Championship but the big issue is opportunity not talent.
Look at a player like Beth Mead being let go during Sunderland’s slide into the amateur tiers going on to become a golden boot winner at an international tournament after signing for fully pro Arsenal

I'm not sure having less space to play in would make the game more explosive, just scrappier.
10-15 years ago I'd have agreed about the goals but we're way past the age of goalies letting in a couple of 40 yard screamers every game.
