What the actual fuck. Is it arrogance, are we truly this bad (as defending champions), I don't understand the decline!?!
I also hate the fact they've been coached to not approach the tournament as defending champions, I think that mindset is awful, you are the reigning champions (double world cup holders in white ball cricket) so fucking act like it.
Terrible decision to put SA in to bat first, make them sweat in the field first, stupid stupid decision.

I think ultimately, the team isn't as good as it was. We seem to be caught halfway between a proper rebuild and retaining the old guard.

Just turned it on to have a sneaky look and didn't realize my mic wasn't muted in the Teams meeting I was on. Everyone looked a bit confused as I suddenly started blurting out obscenities for no apparent reason. Good thing it wasn't a customer meeting.
