Watching this is groundhog day. Top order flails around for low scores leaving Stokes trying to smash away the score deficit in the first 4 balls of the over then changing the strike until he runs out of partners.
Since Cook retired i don't think we've had a top 3 batting order where more than one of them can reliably score more than 20.

I’ve enjoyed every minute of the TMS I must say. I’ve also discovered a very nice Co-Op Chocolate Praline and Caramel Gelato which is basically Ferrero Roche in a tub. Ridiculously good I ate half the tub in one go!

I don't remember him being so dryly funny in the past, either he's getting looser with age or he's taking advantage of the bar hospitality between stints. Listening to him commentate on Bazball sort of reminds me of the politely funny disbelief of Terry Wogan when he did Eurovision voiceover... |
