As for the run-out thing...
I don't really approve of it. Cricket is one of those games like tennis, where etiquette is arguably almost as important as the actual rules. And that was bad etiquette. Maybe understandable if you're desperate for a wicket, but I think our team could maybe take a lesson or two from bazball about not taking the "win at any cost" strategy.
That said, it wasn't cheating. Bad sportsmanship is different from cheating.

I think calling it "tainted" is going a bit far. There's plenty of good (albeit weird) cricket to be happy about in this game, and that's not going to be undone by one lousy decision.
Not going to lie though, I kind of hope Stokes pulls off an upset and we lose.
