Yeah, it was a bit silly from Stokes, especially with Root still at the crease.
I'm all for Bazball but declaring in the first innings of an Ashes was daft at the time and looks even more suspect now.

It's the time left in the game really. Although that does depend on the weather tomorrow. Say we set 290. You guys could knock off 60-70 of those tonight, leaving a very achievable run chase tomorrow.

At least we got it to a point where they'll have to bat well to win, any team chasing down 280 on a day 4/5 turner deserves it (appreciate we might not have Mo bowling, which doesn't help).
