Sorry, I think I've been misunderstood, I don't mean it's a deliberate fix to make it interesting but attempting to make it interesting ahead of trying to win. I get it, but it just seemed daft even at the time of enforcing the follow-on. No-one is fixing matches!

Enforcing a follow on doesn't seem unusual to me, I think most teams would have pushed for it, especially with quality bowling on a reasonable pitch. Historical stats give less than 2% chance of a team winning after being sent back in.

I've got day 5 tickets to The Oval Ashes test as they were knocking them out for £20 each, thought it was worth a punt. |
