Well fuck, that's pretty depressing. Definitely explains what was going on with all those movies.

It doesn't sound good. That's such a shame. As RLM said, he won't be remembered for all these bad movies, it's Die Hard, The Sixth Sense, The Fifth Element, Pulp Fiction. What a career.

I know what they mean but I didn’t entirely agree with that. Maybe not remembered individually but those films *are* a part of his career and it is pretty notable that he spent his last few years in the business making absolute landfill.
When Nic Cage finally hangs up his Elvis glasses, people aren’t just going to talk about raising arizona.

I think the difference there is that Cage is actually a good actor, who kept doing interesting projects both during and after the "Daddy's gotta pay his $6m in taxes" phase of his career.
Whereas Bruce appeared to stop giving a shit at least a decade ago. And now it's ended on...
*checks*
...one of the 8 or so DTV movies he's got in the pipeline.
Still, it sucks for him and his family, and I'm sorry to see him go. I hope he enjoys his retirement more than he enjoyed acting.

Sad to have it confirmed. I’ll have to adjust my aphasia joke.

I’d give up my professional reputation if I could set up my family for life financially. Sad story any way you look at it.

Bump.
I can't believe Jay wasn't aware of hedge/woods porn. I remember hanging out with friends in my early 20s and finding woodsporn in an abandoned cold war bunker in Lincolnshire that we stumbled across. Immaculate 80s porn too.
I think my first exposure of hedge porn was some stuff in the corner our our field in primary school, and it was only some blurry bush in the corner of a jazz mag and we hadn't even a clue what it was.

The episodes have become way too long, the latest one is 90 minutes when there's enough material for about half that amount of time. It's hard to imagine they're that desperate for the ad revenue given they're taking in a fortune through Patreon alone.

They're also not... reviewing new movies. Obviously I'm happy for them to review whatever they want, I'm not clamoring for their thoughts on Dune 2 or whatever. But most of their recent output has been Best of the Worst or those stupid Star Trek trivia things, and sometimes I would like to hear about the things that they are currently watching/interested in.

I mostly just watch the re:View videos these days. They're the only ones where they care and always have something to say. And Half in the Bag now and then. BotW just feels a bit tired and I agree on the length - they definitely don't need to be 90 minutes long. Never liked the pure parody/skit videos that much.
I click every Noiselund video that comes up though.
