Botw are great. They really do endure some shite. Suburban Sasquatch is on my list to watch.

There's a deluxe 4K release of Tammy and the T-Rex, which is just mental.

Playing Fatal Frame at the minute and all I can think of as the story progresses is that scene from one of Neil Breens movies. "I can't believe you committed suicide! How could you do it? I cant belive you committed suicide"

They don't really have much to say about Enemy Mine, and miss the obvious comparison to Robinson Crusoe on Mars they could have made.
Which is actually a really fun little film. With Adam West!

I am amazed they didn't mention the darmok episode of star trek. Isn't that basically enemy mine?

I think that's the most famous 'how didn't they get sued?' one. There's also the one with Picard and the romulan and I think the other series have at least one like it in them. I reckon there's probably half a dozen to choose from.

Have to agree with Mike and Jay in the latest vid, Midnight Mass was one of the best series this year. Glad they called out all the monologue complaints. It's like complaining of a Tatentino movie having too much dialogue.

Haven't heard many complaints, mostly down to not hearing much about it at all. It's a shame. I've been shouting about it to everyone who enjoyed the Hill House stuff (which was apparently everyone), but no one seems to care.
Jay mentioned there were no spooky ghosts in the background of Midnight Mass. I need to rewatch it but I'm sure I saw 2 or 3 attempts at coat hangers in the dead space. The beach scene definitely had a few hangonaminutes. Unless I'm just looking for it, which is probably even more spooky?

There was literally a spooky ghost in the first scene (and subsequent appearances). I did really like it although, yes, I did feel some of the monologues dragged. The 'meaning of life and death' one was ridiculous, even though it was probably the one that had the most impact on the story and payoff. And the king comparisons are inevitable. It is basically Salems Lot: The Revenge.
But, as they say, I would rather netflix chuck money at stuff like this than trying to get millarworld going.
I might try and have a watch of the other 'Haunting of..' show. I really liked Hill House (after a slow start) but I bounced off the second one really hard (although I think that was due to it having the same cast with bad accents which was really distracting)

Bly Manor gets there eventually but yeah you're trading Sheriff Sheriffs terrible American accent with a handful of even worse Ye Olde Mid-Atlantic accents.

I mostly watch Red Letter Media for the amusing way they call out laziness or questionable tropes from the industry.
The way they 'exposed' Adam Sandler for making huge budgets disappear was great.
Also enjoy their rewatches of classics and highlighting things I just took for granted the first time around. Probably my favourite examples are the clumsy 'not gay' scenes that are crowbarred in nice and early to put fragile audience minds at rest if the plot demands that the hero has a close male friend.

Do we think that was or was not a reference to the boys in the first episode of season 2 of Picard?

I won't legitimise the travesty that is Star Trek Picard by adding to the viewing figures. I only plan on watching Red Letter Media's episode reviews.

Because new episodes of Best of the Worst are few and far between, I've been going through the Plinketto episodes in order.
I'm surprised how worthwhile rewatching old episodes is.
Repo Jake's date is brilliant, Little Bigfoot "masturbating" is hilarious, The whole Skateboard Kid review was great (woooaaahhhhhh!) and Rich Evans' laugh never gets old.
Oh and Slade Craven... What a name.
