San Andreas is on GP day one. The rest will probably follow at some point.
III is on PS Now, which I think I've got an unused code for somewhere so might check that out too.

I suppose the mitigation is that you can just play Spotify on your console and go through the old playlists. You'd miss out on the DJ bants which isn't the end of the world, tbh or just play the music and avoid the crappy game part  |

I'd probably pay £20 for one of the games on its own if they split them up (obviously if they didn't look like a low effort pile of shit too)
Hell, I paid $15 for the Vice City PS2 rerelease.

Tried a playthrough of San Andreas when the PS4 version came out and I simply couldn't handle the outdated control scheme. So that being revamped, plus the other bells and whistles is fine by me. Seems from early impressions the soundtrack hasn't been completely butchered either so that's nice. |

Since they're not exactly hammering the hardware of any platform they're releasing on I hope they'd fix a few things. Such as the extreme persistence issues, it's normal for open World games to 'forget' certain things outside your vicinity but the GTA 3 Trilogy takes it to an extreme. Just turning 180 degrees then back again can see objects dropping out of existence or appearing from thin air moment to moment.
There should be an option to keep things as they are, if you want to have your game be a bit Twilight Zoneish but otherwise keep some level of consistency. It's so annoying to lose entire vehicles when you need them.

Out of these 3 games, the only one I haven't finished is San Andreas, so it kind of suits me fine that it is coming to GamePass day one, as I get the chance to play that and wait for a decent sale on the rest |

There would be nothing stopping them from putting in new tracks or even entirely new radio stations if they wanted to give fans a little something back to make up for missing stuff.

Those are some shit omissions.
I actually suspect the various ports already available have had those tracks patched out.
It's an issue in this digital age where licensed music can be ripped out at the drop of a hat.
I guess Rockstar are happy to spare every expense these days.

It worked for FH5 because it was a staggered release. GTA is a global release. Someone else explained the distinction to me in FG (sorry, forgot your username, so can't credit you). Pretty clear why Rockstar has been very reticent to actually show any gameplay footage, these look like tinkered with mobile versions (people have spotted bugs that still haven't been fixed from mobile) and I'll play GTA3 on PS Now and maybe pick up a cheap disc copy at some point but 55 quid is joke.
I think I'd rather dig out my PS2 and play the originals from its hard drive, using HD Loader made it so much better to play.

I dunno, I watched the Vice City video and thought movement and animation wise it looked like a reskinned version of GTA V. I guess the proof will be in the playing though.

People playing them are saying that they seem to be ported from the mobile games, with all the bugs and missing features that the last remasters had...
Same dev, same results. It's got all the hallmarks, too. That shiny, wet look, for example.

Cars and Stepping Out were the two tracks I most associated with VC soundtrack so gutted they have been taken out.
Would love to play VC again (and 3 to an extent, not really fussed with SA) but no chance playing anywhere near full whack for this. The couple of linked videos make it look more like a mobile+ version than a reskin of 5 (or even 4) which the previous info made it sound like.

Those are a lot of big tracks missing. Honestly this whole effort seems beyond sub par. They have so much money and they know people will buy this especially of they just upscaled it to to 4k without doing anything else.
