The Rangers flairs on the Scottish Football Reddit seem to want Gio Van Bronckhorst. McInnes and Davidson are the obvious short-term fixes, I would have imagined, but I can fully understand neither really enthusing the support.
Worth keeping in mind that top spot this season all but guarantees CL group stage next year, and Rangers really do need the accompanying pot of money given their financial predicament. If they've managed to get c.£4m compensation for Gerrard and his staff that's obviously something, but they'll almost certainly still have to offload a prize asset in January (Morelos, Kent, Aribo, Kamara?) to get anywhere near balancing the books. Most of the fiscal analysis I've read suggests they are heavily banking on winning the league to secure the CL cash to avoid disaster. This really couldn't have come at a worse time for them.
You'd have to have a heart of stone not to laugh, ofc.

Yeah definitely got a bad feeling about this. 80% possession, St Johnstone with 8-9 behind the ball at all times, and we're creating very little as the tempo has slowed. This could be the Livi game all over again, going to need a wee bit of magic.

Yeah bonkers. The ref in the Celtic vs St. Johnstone game was also an absolute whalloper. Just issuing a yellow for literally anything by the end. The 'just give both players a card' incident with Kyogo and their midfielder was utterly ridiculous.

Yeah, and those stats from the English Prem about the pitiful percentage of players that are double-vaxed almost certainly applies to the Scottish leagues as well, sadly.
Livi chairman calling for the league to be closed down now for the winter break. I'll be surprised if that Celtic Rangers game at New Year is going to go ahead, or at least it may end up being played behind closed doors.
