I'm creating this thread to highlight this game. I fell like it will get lost with the fuss surrounding Eastward and the approaching Christmas rush. I just bought it last night and I've not been able to put it down. Think a more linear take on Hollow Knight with seriously weighty Dark Souls combat and tough to boot. If that sounds off-putting enemies have clear tells to help you decide when to dodge parry an counter. Battles are still challenging but much more approachable as a result. The art and atmosphere are fantastic. The world your little rat hero lives in has been devastated by war. It's dark, sombre and ruined but as you complete quests and push onwards you gradually see buildings restored and catch the sound of music and industry on the wind as the rat folk slowly rebuild as a result of your efforts. Seeing these subtle changes pop up around you really makes every action you take feel meaningful and worthwhile. Armour weapons and shields come in light medium and heavy varieties allowing scope to create builds to your liking. On top of that the whole thing is narrated brilliantly by the voice of Geralt from the Witcher which gives the game a really epic feel. If you are looking for an absorbing Souls lite with charming characters and excellent combat you could do a lot worse. Could be a real sleeper hit

I love the art style and had my eyes on this. The thought of tough 2D combat however put me off buying on release.
