There is an app - tapatalk. The following has to be done for it to work: “Your forum needs to be added to the directory before it will be able to be searchable on tapatalk. You can add the forum to the directory via your forum's settings. admin > settings > forum settings > directory” I've added it to the directory so it works with Tapatalk now, you have to search for "fontgeek.freeforums.net" to find it in the app. |

From a quick look at that app it looks like it has some potential to be a good alternative to mobile view. There are a few good features that may or may not suit some people, like subscribing to a thread makes posts appear in your feed like rss.

It doesn’t seem to have a dark mode so I probably won’t use it but at least there’s something else to try for those that don’t like the current mobile view. The latest post thing for threads you subscribe to isn’t bad.

It' spot on for me. I just selected "show less often" for everything but the recently updated and it works. Even loads up at the last post I read.
Edit: Not sure how to turn of the signature though but at least it can be edited if it bothers you.

I’m used to the new forum look and how it works now. Any forum that shows all threads in one screen is good by me.
Any changes now are fine but makes no difference to me.

Probably not something you can do with a plugin. Sounds like the perfect use case for plugins, but that's just me. I can try to scrape the HTML, but native support is preferable. How does Tapatalk do it? |
