Garamond is great, I regret that I forgot to include a font of this type in the poll. Big oversight.
As for Calibri... it is as vanilla as it gets, but for all its genericness it's simple, concise, inoffensive, unpretentious, readable. I do appreciate its subdued effectiveness, I think it's a well designed font.
