Far as I could tell it was offside at the final touches, there's only one defender between Benzema and the goal. Edit: yeah apparently that's the reason after all. Horrible play from Liverpool regardless. |

Seeing the angle that showed it was Henderson playing it onto Fabinho’s leg I’m very surprised that wasn’t given. Is it still a deflection even if if completely changes direction twice after the last Real player touched it?

Feels a lot like "We've already had trouble with the fans before kick off, let's not give them any more fuel". No idea how that isn't a goal. Even the chain of events that led to the deflection came from a Liverpool player.

If (big if) the ball didn't reach Benzema from a Liverpool player then it's an obvious offside, only one defender and no goalie between him and the goal. Now whether it was from a 'pool player or not I'm kind of blanking on tbh, I'd have to look at it again. Could easily be given as a goal with that scramble though. |

I've got absolutely no idea why we are just supposed to just ignore the fact that a Liverpool player intentionally plays the ball away from goal immediately before the Fabinho deflection hill they are dying on. Utter bottle job.
