I imagine FFP will severely tie Citeh's hands for any summer spending.
Right guys.

Hoping for Bayern v PSG final, but they’ve got a mountain to climb against RM. We’ll see

I was reading it was a Levy masterclass this morning, which made me laugh. Perhaps our masterclass was losing to Villa, so Spurs don’t get top 4.

Hope PSG don't get to the final. A lot of dodgy decisions to get them to the semi final.

Personally I'm not crushed by going out in the quarter finals to what is actually a pretty decent Bayern. What's disappointing is that they look completely spent. Simply too many games and not enough players, which as we know is bollocks. Even then, we only lost by one goal. Competing with City is an absolute nightmare and must be soul-crushing for the players + staff.

I think the problem is that we still have a handful of squad players that aren't up to the quality of a long season. You always need to rest our best players, but the likes of Eddie, Nelson, Elneny for example aren't players you would chuck in and go they'll do a job. I know Vieira has had injuries, much like Smith Rowe, but neither of those seem to be rotated enough even when fit. Is that more Arteta not rotating enough? Then obviously the other problem is not having a 30 goal striker...
We can all laugh at us for falling again in April, but we're still sniffing about. We need better squad players.
Edit: also forgot Partey who has his crimes, but still that's a player who's taking up space..

Agree, there's half a dozen players who Arteta is reluctant to use for different reasons. Vieira, Partey and ESR it's fitness more than quality. They seek to take ages to get back to match fitness. Nelson, Elneny and Eddie he just doesn't trust full stop, bar a hail Mary at the end of the game. Add in injuries to Tomi and Timber and that's why we're dead on our feet. The same 14 players can't play every week. Massive game on Saturday now. Not confident under the lights at Molineux with a boozy, buzzy crowd.

I just checked and the game is at half 7.. wtf. I'm more confident against Wolves, than when it was Nuno.

Yeah now the disappointment has settled I was probably too harsh. As others have said better than me we simply need more depth now. Especially if fighting on all fronts.
It's laughable with all we have spent and achieved in improving we're still 3-4 players away from competing against city. It simply isn't sustainable. Liverpool the same, even more so really. They had some incredible seasons and still finished second.
Then you have the next set of teams that can't spend what arsenal/Liverpool are doing.

I feel criticism of the keeper a bit harsh there. He took it early and smashed it.
Then a Kane penalty. Never in doubt.

Dortmund need to step up their defense... Or score one or two more themselves, that would work too
