I don't know! Worth the shot, my xbox officially lives in New Zealand now. I'm sad the game selection screen is so uninspired compared to PS5, no countdown or anything. Oh yes I remember..he got to the final boss first but it took him like a Day to beat it so I caught right up with him but alas he won.  . I went hero. I was stuck on character selection for a while as it was between hero, prisoner and one other. Went for priority to frame rate but I'll check the other mode soon. Very cool intro before you start playing. |

stixxuk comments over at the other place mentioned it running at 45FPS and the DF guys were trying to find ways to run the Xbox one version on SX to see if that improves things. No idea about day one patch mind you, so fingers crossed. PS5 is supposedly 10FPS higher in the worst hit areas, but still not perfect. This is giving me a bit of hope mind you;

Playing this now on Series X with a VRR OLED Using the VRR debug screen I can see it's generally running in the low to mid 50's in big open areas and closer to 60 in smaller ones. But VRR is clearing 99% of that up. |

Fyi co op can be done very early. I've played 30 minutes now and can already summon or help others. . Performance wise I'm on FPS mode and I've not noticed any issues but I'm not overly sensitive to such things. |

Bit shit that it isn't running at fixed 60fps on next gen. It's hardly the best looking game in the world. Yeah From's games are never the most technically solid. It's the one thing that's always let them down. Look at big chunks of Dark Souls 1, or the fact they had to abandon their initial plan for DS2 to avoid shipping a game that averaged 5fps. DS3 STILL has areas that never got a texture.
And so on.

The patch notes (1.02) are up on Steam atm, seem to suggest they've 'Fixed frame rate drops under certain conditions'. Sounds a little bit caveated, though, so no idea if that will assuage some of the performance issues that have been reported off the back of the non-patched review copies.
Obviously I'm not too hopeful.
