I assume the co-op in this is still host-world progress only (and presumably you get unsummoned on a boss kill?)?
We could just set an FG-wide password or something?

I've got the Lord vessel and a black Knight halberd +5 in dark souls. I should be able to complete it before elden ring yeah? What pitfalls am I obviously forgetting about?

Ah yeah. That could take some time. Which reminds me of siegmeyers questline too. And if I want the alternate sif cutscene I'll have to do all the dlc all the way practically to manus's fog gate. Ah, and the catacombs being a twat. Not to mention tomb of the giants. Which I'll need a light source for. Along with oolacile. Fuck. That's a lot of work for a slightly different cutscene. And if I want to fo siegmeyer, I'll have to do the great hollow too. Fucking hell! Maybe I won't complete it in time!

Like Wunty, I usually try to get through the game solo first before some Co op runs. However I’m not sure I have the time or patience now I’m getting on a bit, so will probably be swallowing my pride and Co-op any bosses I get stuck on. General exploration I’ll probably do solo first time though as that’s the best part. Bosses have always been more of an inconvenience to me than something I really enjoy.

I think there'll be less getting stuck in this anyway due to the open world design. You'll pretty much always have the option to go off and explore somewhere else.

I hadn’t seen any footage or read anything about it until I looked at that video a few pages back. The open world was a bit of a surprise, but looks great and I guess makes it easier to run away from things |
