Can someone put an airtag up my anus. Then you can see where I am.

After years and years of not being able to find my wallet, I bought one with a pouch for an AirTag and it was a genuine game changer. After dropping roughly £55 on all this around a fortnight later my other half demonstrated how to use Apple Pay and add all my cards to the phone and I no longer use my wallet.

On the plus side you've now got a spare airtag to shove up your arse for the benefit of the forum.

I'd never considered how stinky prison cash must be until now.

So some suspicious sounds/movements around the house (especially in our bedroom last night rather worryingly) with the heavy suspicion a mouse has been loose aboot this hoose has been confirmed just now with it turning up (very conveniently) trapping itself in the bath, it's now been transported outside I daresay it may find it's way back in but at least we'll have a peaceful night hopefully!

Mince Pie Reviews!
First of the year, Marks & Spencer "Collection": bit disappointing. Claggy, chewy and gluey pastry. Filling was fine, if a little flavourless.
Overall 5/10

Yeah I only like home made ones. My gran’s are delicious and my mother’s, whilst more variable, are impeccable at their best.
Both make them quite thin, which is where every shop one ever goes wrong.
I actually doubt my gran will be making them now, she just turned 90 bless ‘er.

I'm always amazed to hear people's grandparents are alive at our age. All mine are gone, the last one, my maternal gran died 12 years ago.

I wasn't conceived until my dad was in his 40s (definitely not planned, which means I started as I mean to go on), so I find it weird when I consider my dad is as old as some people's grandparents.
My actual grandparents are long gone, only ever knew one of them, and never knew any great grandparents.

I’m lucky and my other half points it out all the time. She’s the last one remaining. Edit - my gran not my other half lol.
It is a bit sad that things change even with her around - Boxing Day always used to be a huge thing there with a buffet and all the big clan (including people from Wales and Darn Sarf and about every ten years even Oz) coming over. It was packed and there’d be a kitchen contingent, groups in the front and back sitting rooms, kids mucking about upstairs and a bunch of dogs over too. This year I matched the final age of one of my cousins who would travel from Wales after he died last year - and my great aunt and uncles who would pop in for an hour of this, two are gone and one is in a home with dementia.
They’ve all been replaced in numbers and then some by kids but my Gran just doesn’t have the energy for those gatherings any more, and I guess it’s sad that the new arrivals won’t experience a full version of that.
It’s always hard finding the time to go and visit but I’m trying to do it more as you never know when you’ve been for the last time.
Sorry a bit of a mix of nostalgia and morbidity there.

I have one grandparent left. One grandad died before I was born, the other when I was 8 or 9. One grandmother died four years ago. My grandma though is 95 and still lives on her own. She's showing no signs of slowing down. She even managed to launch herself down her stairs a couple of months ago during the night. Got back up and went back to bed. Only noticed there was some pain a few days later.
She is always happy, positive, and really still lives her life as independently as possible. She's bloody amazing.

My actual grandparents are long gone, only ever knew one of them, and never knew any great grandparents. That's similar to me. My mum was 44 when I was born, so I've always never known my grandparents. I've nothing else as a frame of reference really.
