In todays random things I found on the internet - an old policy paper from 2015 on 7 day NHS services. The very first bullet point on the page:
Patients are 16% more likely to die if they are admitted on a Sunday compared with a Wednesday.
I doubt it's changed much, so I guess don't get sick at weekends.

I suppose if you get admitted on a Sunday then the chances are there is something more seriously wrong with you too.

We’ve got a real sitcom doppelgänger situation at work today. A guy is sat opposite me who has the same look but somehow even more Al Roberts-esque. Its quite disconcerting.

As far as google will tell me, God consultants are unique amongst hospital staff in that they get to opt out of all non emergency work in the evenings and at weekends.
