I seem to be stuck in a 10 day pattern of lazily only shaving my neck one day, then having a full shave a couple of days later because it looks shit.
Don't think I've ever made it past the two week mark when trying to grow a beard.

Anyway the Turkish barber burnt away my ear hairs about a month ago without saying anything beforehand. They just lit a long lollypop looking stick on fire and bopped me on the ears.
I said nothing of course as other people were around but I didn't have a clue what they were doing until it was done.

So the fuzz pulled me over today.
Said that my rear number plate didn't match my front one. Had to give them all my details, took my car keys. Was proper panicking, and asked them what the rear plate said.
Turns out there was one digit that should have been an F but was an N. And then I remembered a few months back when I had my MOT done the rear plate had delaminated, so they replaced it. They must have accidentally put the wrong digit in.
Luckily when I told the officer this they actually listened and phoned the mechanic to check whether they had changed the plate, and my mechanic said they did. I had to get it changed straight away.
I can't believe all that time I didn't notice it was wrong...

Been running errands all day today and seen the queues into the only petrol station in town have been constant since 8 this morning. Some old geezer got out of his car just now and started directing traffic... he's probably gonna get into a fight soon.

I've just been to get petrol for my wife's car. I thought it would be simple enough, but every petrol station I went to was closed. I went to 10 including large ones and finally found one that still had some (but doesn't think it will fit long). It looked like every place was out in the city. Well done scaring everyone into panic buying one again media.
