I think mine runs out in 2027 (which sounds so futuristic)
I never use it though, only got it to make ID stuff easier and makes replacing your photo card driving licence a doddle.

I missed the chance to renew my passport when I could have got the burgundy cover.
Only myself to blame though, I've been meaning to renew it since it expired in (checks) 2010. Well that time disappeared.

Actually, I do think there are plenty of valid ways to take holiday in the UK.
Mostly it's just down to costs, and just not caring about travel enough.
That said I'd like to go Iceland and the fjords of Norway, pretty much the only places on my vague list.
Tokyo was on the list once but after realising that I don't really like big cities I started to question my desire to go to THE big city.

My missus went with her mate on their Big Trip to Japan and was really disappointed with Tokyo, she realised it's just a modern big city like most others with a few nice bars etc. She was really disappointed with Harajuku. Japanese people are apparently the same with Paris: they think it's the City of Lights like in da movies when it's really pretty dirty with a lot of rats and tent cities. She loved Kyoto though. |
