If I've been around cleaning products (or maybe it's the dust), my breathing can become really laboured. I'll have to breathe in very deeply just to get enough oxygen - feels like my throat has closed up. Turning over onto my back/front in bed usually gives me one good breath. Lasts a few hours/a day but was kind of scary when it first started happening as I was worried it might be progressive and I'd stop breathing altogether. I don't know if that's asthma or just an allergy but not being able to breathe properly is awful. Sympathies I'd get that looked at. I'm okay with cleaning products etc but I know they can irritate other people, so could still be asthma. Worth mentioning to the doctor.

Occasionally when I get up in the morning my ticker feels a bit dicky and it occurs to me that I could probably pop that fucker if I tried hard enough.ย Spoilers - I can't. Again, I hope the doctor has been informed about this! Paging drhickman to the thread.

Oops, it didn't occur to me it could be read that way when I wrote it. Let me rephrase. The doctor knows and short story long they said to me "You've had a heart attack, your heart is fucked. Just keep taking the pills and don't call us again unless you actually die."

Gawd bless the (woefully underfunded and understaffed) NHS (esp in rural areas where attracting enough consultants is a challenge). I had a similar experience with an arrhythmia - was told by my local cardiologist that it wasn't a problem now but would be in the future. Thankfully I had a fortuitous episode travelling to London, went to St Thomas' and they were having none of that - got me on the waiting list for an op to try and fix it. 3 years later nearly and no more episodes...

So you guys really have gone all out with not giving a shit about masks then, if Heathrow is any indication. Yeah if anything it's getting worse. Week by week fewer people are wearing a mask wherever I go now. Masks are increasingly on the discount section of most shops. It's all great.

Thing about masks is you are protecting others mainly. So if the rest of the fuckers aren't wearing, I have this devil on my shoulder saying fuck 'em.

Iโm so confused by British TV. My mum is watching Bread and Allo Allo, but in between thereโs Phillip Schofield advertising Gin and Tonic clubs. I donโt know if Iโve fallen back in time to the 80s or if it never really changed.

Drama, which means the name is a bit of a misnomer.
Last of the Summer Wine next.

Drama, which means the name is a bit of a misnomer. Last of the Summer Wine next. Drama is just the new name for UK Gold, if you recall that 90s cable/satellite channel. Still showing the same stuff I see

I breathe all the time, but I have asthma so that makes it harder sometimes I suppose. Unrelated, but poignant. Brought a tear to my eye. Unfortunately, the one on my cock.

Mostly that's right, but if you've got a good quality pp3 mask or whatever their called, you can prevent most of the bugs getting through and a lower payload means a weaker infection... Usually. I think it's down to about 10% of people where I live wearing masks. I feel like the nutter wearing it.

Don't ever set foot outside the house without your GTN spray mind."

The Mrs has been in hospital for a fairly major abdominal operation today. She went in early afternoon and I've only just been told she's out and recovering.
I have may been slightly frantic. The house is clean, though.

You still lower the chances of you sneezing on someone and infecting them. It is hard not to become jaded with other people sometimes, but an 'if no one else is bothering why should I' mindset is something I'd tend to avoid. Lead by example and all that

Got a cold right now, when your kids are in school thereโs no escape Fair point. Hope you're getting the tea and sympathy you deserve I haven't not had a cold since January. I now have "post-viral sensitivity" from the last bad one in early October. Lining of my lungs are "grazed", and so the defense mechanism is coughing. So I can't go into office as no symptoms allowed. GP told me to expect to have one cold after the other thru kids in nursery for the Winter. Yay.
