Sens is classic Souls. First time you get there the enemies hit hard, you do feck all damage to them and you want to find every single secret. It takes AGES to get to the bonfire However first time I played it I didn’t actually find the bonfire so every time I died I had to do the whole thing again! Only found the bonfire when I went back after Anor Londo Felt very stupid when I eventually found it Yup. I still remember my very first time in sens. I'd just got there, and had a right bloody hard time killing the two serpent men because of the jump in difficulty. Then I went up the steps into the next room. "You fucking WHAT?" and I just stopped and started laughing. |

Yes, and two more around the corner. Harder ones. The main problem with this lower area is getting down there, though, because there are three lightning caster snakes waiting on the platform that would allow you a relatively safe drop.

I wouldn't say need, because you can roll around fine without it, but it's very hard, yes.

Part 15. I always forget that there are toxic assholes in painted world, so of course I didn't have enough Blooming Moss and because I didn't want to waste all my firebombs or charcoal pine resin, there is now a very obvious cut in the video where a toxic status suddenly just disappears.

Nicely done! I don't remember big Ornstein being able to take that much punishment, I was expecting him to go down long before. I usually took him out first though, probably only did him second the one time.
Also didn't remember Solaire cheesily flirting with you either.  |

Yeah, they both have a shit ton of life in mega form. But I was too big of a chickenshit to put the shield on my back, so I guess somebody braver can get him down way faster. Also, the Longsword +10 doesn't do the best damage possible at this point in the game.

Part 18, in which I go down to the first bonfire in tomb of the giants without a light source, which I also did in my first ever DS attempt. I don't even die doing so, but I died a lot later on, which made it challenging to cut together into one somewhat coherent sequence.

Part 19, in which I go after Nito. Unfortunately, I messed up filming the Paladin Leeroy fight (he fell down and I instinctively pressed stop recording), so it's not shown in the video, because I didn't realize that you can't fight him again if he falls down.

Artorias fight is up. I'm a bit fatter in this fight, because as mentioned before, I had to record it with a different character, because I somehow failed to press the record button when doing it with Sir Theodric. But I'm wearing all the same stuff, so it should be barely noticeable. I'm also fatter when I'm meeting Kalameet on the bridge, because when I was planning the recording session, I already triggered the event with the main char without being on record, and of course the event can't be replayed by the same character, so little fatty had to take over for that as well.

Descent through Oolacile Township and Chained Prisoner fight. I hate this dude, because his attack patterns are so unpredictable and he has some serious range and some attacks with good tracking. Also, it doesn't help that my longsword just bounces off him. At least there is a big open area to fight him in; would be a real nightmare in a more enclosed space.

I'm probably gonna skip the hollow tree and ash lake. I've filmed it, but it feels a bit weird to go back to such an area that really doesn't have much to offer, after Manus and Kalameet. Probably gonna cut Kalameet and Gwyn fights both together into the same final video.

Manus fight. I don't understand those who claim Sif doesn't help, he is very useful in my opinion to give you much needed distraction from time to time, so that you can heal up. But I'm also very bad at dodging Manus moves, so maybe for more skilled players, it's not as important.
