zagibu It does look gorgeous HUD-less and I envy you; there's no way I could play these games without a constant view of health/stamina bars (both mine and the bosses') or the immediate items and active weapons at my disposal, nooo sir!

Someone needs to do a mod that puts your health and selected item on your back. Maybe with an over-the-shoulder perspective too. Put Dead Space in Dark Souls, why not

You could equip one of those rings that give you buffs when your health is low. They have a visual effect on your character, I think.
Of course you'll still have to deal with no stamina bar and no visible items.

Imagine using Power Within with a setup like this. A ticking time bomb and the timer display broke... Blighttown might be a nightmare, too... Even more so than usual

A knight is certainly not going to meddle with dark arts like Power Within. But yeah, I'm not looking forward to Blighttown.

Argh, I managed to beat Capra in the first try, but then I died in the sewers to the damn frogs. I didn't realize you can't open the door to the sewers bonfire without the master key when you first pass there.

I died about 10 times trying to reach the bottom of Blighttown. Mostly fell down, only once did I get hit by a toxic dart. It's gonna be a bitch to cut it together in a way that seems halfway smooth. Also I just noticed that I don't have the rusty iron ring, because I forgot to go back to the asylum before going down into the depths and blighttown. Oh well... Anyway, here is part 6 meanwhile:

Part 7. Can you notice some of the many cuts? It's where I fell down or got killed by toxing shortly afterwards. Also it seems like I killed Queelag in the first try, but it took me about 5 I think.
[edit] I somehow forgot to include the clips from the Queelag fight, so I had to recut and reupload it, sorry.

Part 8:
[edit] Sorry, I had to recut it, because there was a strange frame counter in the first part of the video.

BlightTown was such a frustrating yet memorable place and those dart blowers were absolute cunts!

Part 9 is up with the return to the asylum. Stray Demon killed me a few times, but it turns out he isn't even that hard if you use a weapon with bleeding.

zagibu I take it you've got a mod installed that makes invaders look like regular folk? Because I was extremely confused at the 3:30 mark of that last video

hedben What? That's not an invader, that's Oscar of Astora, the dude that gives you the Estus flask in the beginning. I have no mods installed, except of a few environmental textures that are in a bit higher resolution and three textures that remove the soapstone markings (unfortunately, it seems you can't remove only the orange ones this way, because they seem to use all the same texture and the color is probably added in a shader).

Part 11. Next is Sen's Fortress, which will probably involve a lot of video cuts again. I'm gonna wear Elite Knight Helmet, though, so it will be less obvious that I died and forgot to restore my humanity, like it happened already in two previous videos (did you notice?).

Sen's Fortress is done. Only fell down twice and got killed once by a Balder Knight.

If you just beeline through sens, it's actually pretty short.

If you just beeline through sens, it's actually pretty short. Back in the day, I used to be able to get through (with some luck dodging mobs) to the bonfire in about 10 mins. Of course, that would be hilarious to try that now...

Has a balder side sword dropped yet? I think so, but I'm probably not gonna use it. I know it basically obsoletes the Longsword, but I just don't really like the looks of it. Same thing for the Claymore, I don't like the scabbard tacked on to the back of the player, so I'll probably only use it in some boss fights, if at all. I actually thought about using a mod that removes the scabbard, but so far I've been too lazy to unpack the game files.

Sens is classic Souls. First time you get there the enemies hit hard, you do feck all damage to them and you want to find every single secret. It takes AGES to get to the bonfire
However first time I played it I didn’t actually find the bonfire so every time I died I had to do the whole thing again! Only found the bonfire when I went back after Anor Londo
Felt very stupid when I eventually found it

Well, it is pretty well hidden, and you are usually stressed in this area, because a huge fatso is throwing exploding pots at you.
