I wonder if the Neebs gaming channel doing pseudo multiplayer will boost the game's numbers? Having the experienced Appsro and beginner Neebs playing survival at the same time, with Appsro telling Neebs how to play, has been pretty entertaining. It's also reminded me I bought the game ages ago and still haven't even started it...

The new paid content (expansion pass) releases in 90 mins or so on Steam (6pm UK time) but I'm starting to have second thoughts about jumping in right away. The roadmap on their site mentions three new regions (along with a bunch of other stuff, loot table changes, some story elements etc) but it's to be released over the course of a year (more likely, given past performance, much longer than that). And it's not clear what will be in this element being released today - it's not documented anywhere.
Maybe the description on Steam will tell us that when it releases. My guess is one new area (joined to Broken Railroad). I'm torn between supporting these guys and waiting for the complete release. Will probably still buy it (no pricing available either) but hmmmm...
