Anyone given this a go? It's in early access currently and while not all the systems are working yet I'm quite enjoying it. Apparently its like a 3D Rimworld, but having not played Rimworld I can't comment to that.
What I will say is I like the art style and particularly the research system. You research by writing scrolls/books/tomes as you progress. When you have enough of these you use them to unlock something on the tech tree, so you don't have to pick what you're researching till you have the resources to do it now.
Secondly (and more interestingly,) if you lose any of these scrolls etc either through leaving them in the rain, burning them as emergency fuel or having raiders sack the place you "forget" that research and cannot rely on it or any research that relies on it until they are replaced. So your research has a physical existence and must be protected/defended.

I have actually looked at this and thought it had potential, but as of yet haven't pulled the trigger. I usually try to limit myself to one early access title on the go at any time (currently playing a bit of Starmancer). How rough is it in its current shape?

It's not rough, just basic. The survivial, growth and basic tech tree systems are in place as is the combat. But the wider trade and influence with other settlements in the area doesn't exist yet and those basic systems could do with expanding in some areas. Thus far its fun until you get near the end of the tech tree and have good enough defenses to see off the trebuchets.
It's a solid start though.

Going to keep an eye on this, has promise. How hungry is it? Most of my build is about 6 years old and I don't plan to upgrade anything in the near future

Think it's unity based, min spec is 8gb ram, i5 3000 series/fx830 series CPU but fairly modern on the GPU, gtx1050 or rx560 with 2gb of vram.

I'm keeping a watch on this one. Love Rimworld - have over 340 hours into that, which is crazy good value considering I bought it in early access. I was just going to let this one cook a little longer before getting it, always a careful balance with early access not to burn it all out before the thing is even finished.
