Yeah I'm a fan of the studio.
The Series X/S and PS5 versions got rid of several issues the original had. Still got a fair few but I enjoyed playing it again.

Thanks. It seems to be very brown/grey. Yeah, the endless complaints about the filter for Fallout 3 and the not-so-saturated Far Cry 2 immediately came to mind. |

Home, sweet home. The office building where the whole long journey starts.
A lot of interaction is pushing buttons and such, but there are also quite a lot of very specific interactions like testing water and getting a print-out for it or putting an actual CD into the drive to fix a software error. It's all quite realistic (though obviously simplified) and free of superfluous systems and UI.
Oh, and there are lots of sewers and related locations. There were a few occasions where it was quite a relief to get out into the open again.
It took a very, very long time to get back to the office and it was definitely one of the most unnecessarily convoluted (but also pretty cool) journeys I have ever taken in any game.

oh for fuck's sake why do photo modes not auto hide the ui when you take a photo? (mass effect LE, as my computer is insufficiently beefcake to play starfield)

Hah, I was just now looking over my uploaded gifs and suddenly saw a chance of optimization in the Alchemical Jewel production. Here is the new solution that needs fewer cycles and is even 1 field smaller in area, but still the same low price:
