Anyone playing this? I started it last night (PC version). It's pretty good so far.
I never played it back in the day.
My only gripe is that the cutscenes were not remastered. But they're awful anyway, just skip them. You don't need story in a Sonic game.
Looking forward to playing it again. It's mostly on a 2D plane which is a bonus for a Sonic game post 2000.
Actually another gripe is that it seems really easy so far. Generations was like this too, I breezed through that.
I'm only a hour in though, so I'm sure it'll have some increased difficulty.

The original was a great game so I can't imagine the re-release not being enjoyable as well, though I'm not in a rush to get this one since I've still got the original game and Sonic games do drop in price over time, unlike a certain red-hatted plumber's games...

Is it better than generations? I loved that So far it's very similar. Colors might take the prize though because it doesn't have many tunnel running sections. It's pretty much all 2D which is what Sonic should be. Generations is pretty good though. If anyone who hasn't played it can get it cheap in a sale I would recommend it. |

Luigi is also better than Spiky Blue Hedgehog. Tails is cool though
