David Gulpilil died a few days ago. He was probably the best known Aboriginal Australian actor alive, though I don't think many of his films (aside from Walkabout) were known internationally.

Reggae Bassist, Robbie Shakespeare died age 68. One half of Sly and Robbie and an absolute legend of Dancehall. I was a big fan back in the day. RIP

Well I too have lost both parents, and well short of 78, as has Mrs Mercury. Sure we're all vulnerable, only gotta read some of the other threads on here but to me 78 ain't much to brag about on the basis that you could drop dead tomorrow.

One of my what could have beens is if they'd done all the vampire chronicles with Neil Jordan and Tom Cruise, but apparently Interview was such a miserable experience to make, no-one was interested in carrying on.
