Yeah his American accent wasn’t great yet he does it in loads of films. I guess there is a huge shortage of white male American actors so fair enough.

Nolan casting him in Batman must have been a favour, surely? Couldn't he have just been the exec at Wayne Enterprises that Hauer played?
The sense I'm getting from Wilkinson's obituaries is that his agent was great at getting him parts he was ill-suited for.

Not really a 'celebrity' in my eyes, but a) the youth of today would probably disagree, and b) I didn't know where else to put this - it seems that Paul, the man behind the Mitten Squad YouTube channel, died recently.
Not all that surprising, as he'd been open about his worsening battle with alcoholism, but sad nonetheless (especially at 27 years of age).
If you don't know who he is, and have any interest whatsoever, he did loads of 'Can you beat [game] while [in-game handicap]?' videos, mainly for Fallout and Elder Scrolls.
His content wasn't for everyone, but he seemed like a good dude. RIP.
