He was good in Blow. Never, ever understood Pee Wee Herman. I always just assumed you had to be American to get it. I genuinely loved pee-wees big adventure and big top pee-wee when I was a kid. They are just so endearingly stupid, they really appealed to me. |

For those who have access to Twitter, this thread is fantastic to show how much of a one off William Friedkin was.
One highlight is him going to the trouble of creating an Amazon account just so he could write a review of the DVD release of Sorcerer telling people not to buy it as it wasn't the remastered version.
