Listen to Wreck often as it's on my Youtube playlist. What a singer/songwriter. Glad to have got in to his music however late.

We went to Canada for a bit when I was (far too young to remember) a kid and my Dad got the bug for him over there, so he's part of the music of my childhood and it's just stuck. He's a great singer and writer and Wreck is an incredible, evocative giant of a song.

That’s very sad.
I can’t work out if it’s just another Twitter rumour or what but there does seem to be a lot of concern for Jamie Fox circulating.

The Demon Headmaster, Queens Nose, Art Attack and How! were a part of my childhood getting home from school. Sad loss

We just finished re-watching the recent Demon Headmaster on iPlayer. It's pretty good, if dark.

IIRC Demon Headmaster was pretty dark and did weird shit. Like some kind of weird plant monster that cloned people.

I don't actually remember much about the original one(s?). The new one, while being a cbbc show in some ways, manages to have quite a clever twisty plot at times with some major Big Brother / anti-establishment themes. My missus, after catching a fair bit of it when the kids were watching around dinnertime, asked why all UK kids TV shows are dark, scary and depressing and all the adults are bad and the kids are always causing trouble and breaking the rules.

I loved the Demon Headmaster when I was younger.
The big rumour when I was at uni was that the main girl from it was at the same one studying to be a dentist but I never saw her.
Hardiman was so good though. Very creepy. Jack Straw took a lot from that portrayal.

Jeez. Now I'll forever associate the poor guy with Jack Straw! The guy playing the new Demon Headmaster is good too, but the original shows up near the end too

You didn’t see a lot of their stuff in record shops around here but the Man’s Ruin Records label used to be a guaranteed seal of approval for me. The whole aesthetic of it all seemed so cool and all those fuzzy desert and stoner rock jams had a great vibe to them. If I saw an album Kozik had put out on the shelf I would buy it.

S Club’s Paul’s death confirmed as “natural causes”, so looks like it was a pre-existing health condition. Very sad and shocking for all involved but some solace in that at least he didn’t take his own life.
Also, former pro wrestler Superstar Billy Graham died age 79. Honestly, for someone as juiced as he was, that’s a ripe old age. And worth checking out his life story for an expert’s guide in burning ridges down.

Considering Vince more or less handed his entire character to Hogan, Billy Graham could have been something huge in another lifetime.

Only 59, too - not much of an age, to say the least. Aye, they're getting a bit too close to home. Both with the musicians dying meaning more to me and with the ages getting closer to my own...

I always thought they'd be older. You'd see Rourke or Marr sometimes just around town. Rourke, especially, made a living off dj sets.
