Real shame, he was always very good and great to watch, only thing I think he was completely wrong for was "The Bogie Man" which required someone who looked like Humphrey Bogart and he obviously did not.

I believe I first saw him in Cracker, or at least that’s when I became aware of him.
He was great as Hagrid. I always got the impression that he looked after the younger members of the HP cast and helped them to get the best out of themselves.
