I think you want to hit 80. But not hit 90. Sharp decline in that decade.
I’m starting to think Saville had it all figured out. Knock back cigars and avoid all the unpleasantness.

Had a copy of Remo Unarmed and Dangerous on Betamax as a kid that me and my brother wore out, plus obviously, Tremors at a later date as well.
RIP.

I’m starting to think Saville had it all figured out. Probably not a great idea to say that in public.

He got away with it! How can you not conclude he'd figured it out?

He would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for those meddled kids.

I doubt it being suicide. He liked the odd drink as I recall, so maybe alcohol was involved.
Still though, RIP. God it's been a fucking terrible couple of months for Australian cricket.

Ah man, Rachel's song from Blade runner is an all time favourite of mine (plus the end credits of course, and everything else!) RIP End credits are my all-time favorite sci-fi track. I don't know if being born in the 80s vs the 70s plays a factor, but I always preferred synths versus the melodramatic orchestrated stuff when it comes to sci-fi scores, so Vangelis was a favorite of mine. RIP, legend.

That's a real shame - the man is a titan of modern music. I obviously love Bladerunner and everything to do with it. The music played a huge part in that when I first watched as a child. Very sad news.

Fuck Chariots of Fire, it wasn't even as good as his most mediocre compositions.
This one, however.

For real. 666 is an amazing album. The sounds he got in there are amazing for the early 70s.

Not really a celebrity but someone whose music was on a lot in my student house Grandmaster Gareth of Misty’s Big Adventure has died. One of the most fun live acts I’ve ever seen too.
If you’ve ever been to a Dave Gorman tour show he plays their Black Hole album as the theatre fills basically every show.
