Thanks! Oh and another question. It was pretty common over at RPS to write pretty massive posts at times, so how is that handled in the general gaming thread over here? Do people prefer to keep huge posts on particular games out of there or is it fine to occasionally have basically whole reviews or big discussions on particular games or topics in there? I think alms almost never separated stuff out unless it really took over the "Wot you playing"-thread. Generally speaking, concise is better, but imo just do what you want. Usually the people who don't want to read long posts just... won't read them. And that's fine. |

I'm also a refugee from RPS forums. I'm not gonna lie, making this first post is exciting and terrifying in equal measure, mostly because it feels odd having to start from scratch.
Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome you've given us RPS refugees, I'll mostly be hanging in the PC thread.

It'll be nice to know what's happening in PC world again tbh. I gave my gaming pc away about 8 years ago and miss the all night sessions playing mmoprgs... But I'm still married as a consequence, so there's that.

spacein_vaderOh man, Jedi Knight online takes me back. Trying to play it on a 56k connection with ping of half a second on a good day. Back when I bought PC Zone/PC Gamer for the patches/mods rather than downloading them. ToomuchFluffyHanimalleVandelayWelcome aboard too! (and anybody else I've missed)
