Can I just say that the LIV Tour can get fucked. It's an even more blatant attempt at sports washing than buying football clubs. I can't say I blame the lower order players but the top players can get fucked.

Is sportswashing effective, in terms of what the sports washers are trying to achieve? Seems like it just turns a massive spotlight on the activities they’re trying to gloss over. I certainly knew fuck all about the employment terms and practices of Qatar prior to the World Cup shenanigans, and I don’t think China is any better image-wise for hosting an Olympics.
Of course this could just be a result of where I go for my news and media consumption, but it seems like it generates more heat than anything else to me
