Hi all, should be an easy one but I am stumped.
I have a macro where I want to reference a fixed cell and copy it down. So:
if(J2=sheet2!$F$1….
becomes if(RC[-3]=sheet2!R1C6…. In the macro
However in the macro it ignores the $ and uses relative references as it copies the formula down. How do I convert that R1C6 into a fixed reference?
Many thanks

Cheers chaps. Figured it out. It was actually working and I had fucked up further down. I did read about relative v absolute references etc and am still no the wiser though.
