It's finally PlayStation's turn.
Next Thursday (09-09-21) at 9pm BST they are live streaming a presentation that is set to show games for "this holiday and beyond".
Let's get speculating.

Probably God of War, Horizon, Kena, Deathloop, maybe some info on Gran Turismo, and a very slim chance of the Naughty Dog multiplayer game being announced. Oh and probably a trailer for GTA 5 and the remastered GTA games.

I'm a broken record, but over than unannounced games, I just want some Returnal DLC and Gran Turismo 7 details. If I get those two then everything else is just sugar 😊

All they need are their final trailers a month before they come out, otherwise they're gonna feel to familiar to be exciting. For me anyway, I know we're all different, but I get fatigued from constant updates. It's why I love the Rockstar way of doing things. |

Well it's still technically a ps5 exclusive for a limited time so they're going to push it all the way. I'm just going to wait for it on Gamepass tbh.

I'm looking forward to Deathloop, I think it will be a fun game. That said I'm looking forward to it coming out so we don't have to see it anymore in these events.
That and Horizon I would suggest would get trailers as it's closest to release. A sound engineer working at Santa Monica just tweeted to look forward to the event, so it seems plausible that something of God Of War Ragnarok will be shown. Probably some other indie titles as well getting featured like Solar Ash.
If I was being hopeful then something of FF16 and FF7 Remake Pt 2 would be shown, but it's doubtful.

A lot of media seem to think the showcase was a disappointment? I enjoyed it. But I was almost squealing with joy when they confirmed you could modify cars in GT7. I cannot wait to for that game. I need it.

I flicked through it last night. Seemed alright. Just miss the big dick swinging of e3. Gt7 didn't look any better than Forza at this point, still heard some of the 1996 tyre screeching and hoover engines. Not much but the we're there. Still haven't played god of war but ragnarok looked brilliant. Never played kotor so look forward to that, spiderman will be good.
Not a borderlands fan but big fan of playing baby metal in the trailer.

Was great to see modifying cars in GT7, less great to see them chickening out of going full Moon Over the Castle. Forspoken looks less and less like the kind of game I'd pay money for each time I see it. Disappointed to see more and more Marvel stuff from Insomniac, I prefer it when they work on their own stuff - I'd like them to have another go at Stormlands for PS5 VR. God of War looks like an expansion pack, which is as much a compliment to how well put together the original was as a complaint. Ghostwire looks a long, long way from completion but at least it's alive.

I thought it was pretty good - plenty to look forward to after Horizon Forbidden West and also plenty of top Sony studios who didn’t show what they’re doing next.
I can take or leave all the Marvel stuff but can’t deny that Insomniac make great games. They seem a very busy studio too.
I’ve never played KOTOR so that remake will be very welcome. I’m less sure about remastering Uncharted though… i mean, they’re great games and they probably want something “new” (not new) to flog when the movie finally comes around, but I don’t see myself rebuying this when I still have the PS4 games.
Forspoken looked like a good game rather unfortunately narrated by and starring a sweary teenager. I guess they need to distinguish it from Final Fantasy, but I’m not sure this was a wise move…
But yeah - God of War!! Can’t wait for that.

Yeah, I can see having a snarky, but not not my kind of snarky enough teenager narrating an entire game and not shutting up wearing off very quickly. Shame as it looks really nice.

I get the feeling Forspoken had a sudden shift in tone after some exec decided the game needed to appeal more to da yoof but without knowing how. Like they watched one too many Ubisoft press conferences.
I thought the writing and voice acting were pretty awful, and the animations and lip syncing in the cut scenes were way off.
Gameplay looked promising though. I wasn't all that keen on the rest of the conference. It does seem like Insomniac will be the Marvel studio for a while too

Yeah, the forsaken voice acting is horrendous, hopefully the Jp dub is much better, still interested in it though.
Project Eve looked pretty great but obviously quite the Bayonetta rip-off.
I'm still intrigued by Ghostwire:Tokyo but need to see more gameplay.
