Some twat had an alarm going off all night, I'm glad they slept through it until almost 7am because I didn't. Had a dream where there was an alarm going off all the time and woke up still hearing it, I was confused to say the least.

It's the worst. The shittest thing for me is knowing I'm going to feel knackered all the next day (which is always a work day), and that I'm STILL not guaranteed a decent sleep the following night! It comes for me in phases where I'll have a shit night 4 or 5 days in a row for seemingly no reason. Both my parents have the same issue and they tell me it gets worse with age, so that's just great.

Whenever I've had insomnia, I used to listen to Nora Jones album Come Away with me and would fall asleep instantly.
