Which brings me back to my desire to explain myself to everyone.

When I left EG earlier this year, I was in a pretty dark place, I believe my last posts showed that. I've had a few talks since and I learned to keep my alcoholism in check, most of the time at least.

But I missed you guys cunts (that's the correct term here for expressing endearment, right?). Eventually I returned under a new name, RobTheRobber, in the hope for a fresh new start. I was undecided if I should reveal my identity, I thought sooner or later I would, but that didn't happen until I quit again. I'm not sure how many were suspecting as much, there's at least one user who I believe knew who I was, but he was kind enough to not mention it.

So as RobTheRobber, I tried to be less of a drunk idiot and have more constructive, fruitful discussion. I think that worked for the most part, until I lost it again some 1-2 weeks ago. I got badly hammered again, and the next morning I found out that I wished for the extermination of mankind in the climate change thread. I am very bitter and angry about how mankind knowingly keeps destroying the planet, but I don't actually wish for everyone to be killed. In hammered state however, it seems I have to take everything to the absolute extreme and so I wrote that and doubled down in several posts.

I bet people who read it wondered wtf was wrong with me, and honestly when I read my posts the next day I myself again wondered wtf is wrong with me. I was thinking about explaining myself, but I thought I went too far again and deleted my account. Losing control should only be my problem, not yours.

And I quickly regretted it because again I missed you cunts. And I thought it was such a shame because I thought I was having months of fruitful discussion until I destroyed it again in a single day. I don't know if deleting myself is the appropriate reaction when perhaps 90% of the time I believe I wasn't being an idiot.

I apologise for the wacko things I said and I hope I could make y'all understand, at least to some extent. This is the best internet community I've been in and I will continue to try to not be an idiot.

Is this a permanent new home for the perfect eg members & moderators? What happens when the forum shuts down? I asked previously to get reinstated &/or my posts, but I then thought that not many of the posts were worth saving & all my development & learning was on my cloud accounts.
I really think this could be a good thing here & good luck to the creator(s) of it.....is there more than 1? & Do they study or work in internet related work?

I stopped ignoring people because threads got too confusuing to follow and the dramatic folk got quoted all the time anyway
