Its the latest cause celebre of the right wing propaganda industry, of which the disadvantaged are the most susceptible.
There is a reason that the people who turn up outside libraries to protest drag story hours are usually jobless, wife beating drunks.

We could probably save a lot of time, effort, suffering and maybe lives if we just rounded up every politician, reporter and newspaper owner who's ever made a "culture war" statement and locked them away somewhere dark and smelly.
Perhaps we could even make them watch endless VAR decisions or something.

People in a crisis are biologically hard-wired to seek the epistemic comforts of home.
So in a crisis, anything that you feel is different from you can be weaponised, and these people have seen theirs and their kids life chances steadily decline over the last 40 years or so.

I couldn't write a "book" and present a show on GB News at the same time, I've no idea how she manages it.

Don't forget Daily Mail columnist and conductor of an inquiry into the injustice of her peerage. No other MP is working as hard as her.

Shefford's mayor, Ken Pollard, told the BBC her constituency office had closed a few years ago and was now a dance studio.

Dear Rishi "Since you took office a year ago, the country is run by a zombie Parliament where nothing meaningful has happened. What exactly has been done or have you achieved?" 🤣

Godammit now her fucking face is everywhere. Hopefully not literally. The thought of her orgasm face as she knocks one out while thinking of Boris, is something that should be banned under the Geneva Convention or something.

I'd imagine not even Johnson has seen her "o" face, not through lack of trying on her part.

Her resignation letter (paywalled on the daily Mail, natch) is hilarious. The short version is that she is quitting because she has a book coming out on how the mean boys were just being mean to Boris.
The long version is that plus ‘Sunak is a loser’ for 1000 words.
If her constituency return another Tory, they deserve to get hit by a meteor.

She should be being sued by her constituents for fraudulently drawing her salary and expenses.

Amid all her other ramblings, this is very much minor in the grand scheme of things, but: Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this "loss of interest" be at least partially due to Brexit tanking the UK's appeal as a market?

No mention of her suspension, getting back in on a technicality, the investigation into where she actually lives or thanks for the near £180k we give her every year to keep her daughters in BMWs, either.
In a just world, she shouldn’t be wondering why she isn’t getting a gong but just be thankful she isn’t facing charges. Honestly, the fucking nerve.

And despite that letter, still hasn't technically resigned - that needs to go to the chancellor.

Nadine Dorries' resignation speech had big 'Father Ted accepting his Golden Cleric award' vibes.
In other news it's very cool to see Rachel Reeves has confirmed that there would be no wealth tax from future governments.

Ah yes, saw that. Absolutely ridiculous position to take right now. I don't know why they keep coming out with such absolutist policies. We don't know the state of public finances at a GE.
