I assume he was drunk when he wrote that, or he delegated it to one of his alter egos.

The obvious PMQs line is; do mortgage holders get to charge the increase directly to the Tory party?
Or yknow the lost PPE money.

Well I'm sure a hastily drafted rule change to appease a bunch of morons with no thought as to why the long standing rules were the way they were will have absolutely no consequences down the line...

For years people's accounts have been closed with little to no information.

Yes, but the vast majority of them weren't desperately clinging onto their last vestiges of relevance, intent on milking it just as far as possible.

Dear Mr Money-Launderer, we were going to close all your accounts because you're clearly a criminal but now we have to give you three months notice, don't try and do anything illegal while this time period runs. Cheers, Mr Bank Manager.
Every time they rush stuff like this it comes unstuck incredibly fast.

Was listening to Lewis Goodall this morning (sitting in for James O'Brien) and he had a caller who handles vetting potential customers for one of these exclusive banks. She talked about having quite clear guidelines as to what is and isn't acceptable. She also said that there are plenty of people who are clearly bad people that go through without any issue (such as the Russian oligarchs).
I assumed that her conclusion to this would be that the story was nonsense... until she said "so this is all very concerning" and started complaining about not wanting to be moral arbiter.
This was followed by a caller who complained about the highly exclusive bank being too left wing and concerned about wokeness, as well as the centre ground having now moved far too much to the left wing (in a country with probably the most right wing government we have seen in decades).
The quality of callers to the show really dramatically declines when J OB is off... (And it's a shame, as I quite like Lewis Goodall)

My word, this fix has come in so fast I can only image how many grotesque nazis in government must be terrified of not being able to manage their undeserved millions because of their hateful opinions.
And can you imagine having to apologise to that walking salon-tan? I'd rather eat and digest a pine cone.

Lib Dems are claiming Somerton and Frome. For some reason I misread that as Somerton and France. Seemed bold of them.

FFS. Looks like Tories have held Johnson's seat so they can spend today claiming a massive victory.

Yeah, perhaps this will finally get the message through to Kahn that, yes, people want ULEZ, but implementing it during a cost of living crisis may not go down in the annals of great political moves

He also stood for election in Uxbridge and the poll results show he got about 700 votes (2.3%). Meaning he's lost his deposit. Again. Always nice to get a dose of reality and realise twitter followers don't equate to real votes.
Even funnier when you consider his political party put this picture of him up last night as prospective Prime Minister

FFS. Looks like Tories have held Johnson's seat so they can spend today claiming a massive victory. Surely that's a good thing though, nationally. Trying to spin a clear message of dissatisfaction as an endorsement, makes them look even more out of touch. The way the new MP was talking you'd have thought they'd overturned a Labour safe seat, rather than very narrowly held a Tory one.

Something needs doing but a policy that will almost exclusively target poorer people is just ridiculous.

Not sure how 2 out of 3 Tory defeats in one night feels like such a loss, but it kind of does. It isn't so much them holding Uxbridge, but the obvious reason for the hold and the message it sends to CCHQ; anti-environmentalism works. I now fully expect an increase in climate change acceptance and outright denial in our national debate.
