That video was so weird. He is rich enough without having to do Cameo messages

How can someone be more robotic than Theresa May? It's hard to tell whether the video is looping or not.

Yeah, after about 30 seconds, I thought so far, so standard. Then came the repetition.

It's like when NPCs have run out of new material and just give me the same answers over and over.
In 2002.
In a game.

Nothing says "we didn't do anything wrong" more than telling a judge led public inquiry that you can't have information that was requested.

Those poll results are too fucking good for them. Based on those numbers, I would be surprised if Tories didn't come away thinking they were doing alright amongst 25-40 year olds. Only 31% think they are dishonest, 24% think them incompetent and out of touch. All those should be well above half in the age group. Still 21% would vote them too! How anyone under the age of 45 doesn't hold the Tories in absolute destain is beyond me.

45 seems a bit of a low age. Should be anyone that isn’t a fairly well off pensioner that should feel disdain at the very minimum. That audience is the only one they’ve ever cared about appealing to.

Faint whiff of policy-based evidence making with that argument. Along with a very strong whiff of the purest horse shit.

Doesn’t seem like the behaviour you expect from the guys who “got all the big calls right”.

I think Eadie is external Counsel who the Government have gone to for advice. You can basically get any answer you want if you instruct carefully enough...

Wonder how long it will take for the penny to drop that they can't come out of this in a good light?
1) They don't release the info - Public think they're hiding something 2) They release a redacted version - Public think they're hiding something 3) They go to court and win and don't release the info - Public think they're hiding something
They are telling a public enquiry what is and isn't admissible as evidence. That principle will be interesting at the next murder trial at the Old Bailey. "Your honour, the knife used in the murder is the defendant's property and they have decided it is not relevant to this trial. Additionally, photographs of the murder scene in my client's house are an invasion of privacy and they are also not relevant.

I bet ÂŁ0.50 that they're about to claim National Security as a reason to withhold evidence.

If I had a pound for every time a Tory lied, cheated, hid evidence or otherwise acted dishonestly, I'd probably be rich enough to buy Twitter off of Musk.
I wouldn't, but I could.

The covid inquiry is already scheduled to run until 2026, but I'll have a tenner the final report doesn't appear until 2030.

I would put my house on the witheld messages revealing another member of the cabinet/The PM was having an affair That could go the other way too - there is fuck all in there, and all this effort so they have something to shout about and deflect for the next decade to drown the inquiry. 'Yes, of course Lady Mone gets to keep the ÂŁ65M, she earned it. It's these awful invasions of privacy that are the real problem. All the big calls. Etc' Interesting to note those streaming fraudsters sent down forever yesterday made about 10% altogether of what Mone has, and she gets no time whatsoever and keeps the dosh.

And of course, there's this:
Which appears to contradict everything he and the government have been saying for months, including to the inquiry about whether he misled parliament. Which it looks like the whole government has been doing for ages, to the shock of absolutely no one.

Johnsons best defence might be that he is such a proven liar, how can his diaries be taken as evidence of anything? Quod erat cuntum.
