Sunak the real winner is quite the take, considering the majority of Tory councillors seemed fairly adamant that they lost because of central government. That poll does seem a bit Labour friendly though. Poll of polls at Politico has them 16 points ahead as of the start of this week. I really don't get it. We did a lot on the rise of the Nazis at school in second year. I did history up till 6th year at school, I think the 6th year course was entirely on Nazi Germany.
The lesson from the legendary but sadly departed Mr Langston on the naming of the party and the choice of colours for the flag have always stuck in my mind, using "Nationalism" to appeal to your patriotic types, "Socialism" to appeal to the masses, workers, distract them from the commies, talking about elites, the lying press etc. Using new mediums like radio to spread their own version of the news.
Essentially all they have done is change the word "Socialism" for "Conservatism", because we all know "Socialism" is evil.
They must see how obvious the comparisons are. Does this not get covered in English schools?

Probably also worth remembering that non-white people can be racist too. It isn't like Asian countries don't have their own history of racism.
Don't want to use anecdotal evidence to inform a culture, but the British Asians I have known have often been very socially conservative.

For all people moan about Starmer's willingness to keep the right leaning papers happy, you only have to look at the hysterical crying and conspiracy theories being bleated out following his thoughts on making voting fairer. They will absolutely savage him anytime there is a sniff of a Brexit angle. The Tories are gagging to run an election on that vote again.
