Imagine getting out of bed in 10 Downing Street each morning, knowing deep down that:

1) Not one member of the electorate voted for you at a general election;

2) You lost a leadership contest to Lettuce Lady;

3) You only ascended to the top job following her inevitable implosion; and

4) You'll almost certainly be out of a job as soon as voters get a chance to kick you to the kerb.

Now imagine how big a cunt you'd have to be to evince as much smugness as Sunak does in spite of the above.

To be fair to him I thought he would be lesser of evils compared to Boris Johnson or Liz Truss. I thought he'd be at least more moderate on most issues but his decision making isn't rooted in principle, so he's flip flopping and pandering. The purges that Boris Johnson committed to get rid of any dissent on Brexit has meant that the Conservative party is now made up of incompetent careerists that will do or say anything. At least a principled cunt can be relied on to be consistent.

That’s absolutely what happened. But to pre-can that line in the first place is morally disgusting. Whatever your thoughts on those matters it’s not one to make sneering jokes about in the highest office of democracy in the Uk.
