I would love that.  All I want is the ability to play quick games with little faff (so picking in form players is about all) against the AI or couch opposition.  None of this trading players and management nonsense and certainly no Ultimate Team type stuff.

If they could then add net play it would be a fantastic addition, but bare bones Pro Evo 5 or 6 for me with a new kit and player patch every year would have me subscribing.

I just can't do it. I know it's absolutely pathetic, but I just can't play FIFA. I'd rather not play anything or get back into Footy Manager or something.

I'm thinking it's got to be fake. Like a clip from some football management game that shows fake highlights or something. The animation looks too good, surely everywhere would be talking about it if they'd released footage like that.

Yeah that actually looks like real football unlike the other shite we get served up. It's got to be pre baked footage from somewhere that.

That UFL stuff looks fantastic - shame it is probably a fake, but it does indeed look too good to be true.

It would have got me playing though - I gave up on both Fifa and PES a few years back, having played both for a while once PES started getting shite.

Yeah I get that. Also I doubt you'll get investors involved either due to FIFA. But surely a fair percentage of players would simply try an alternative just to give it a whirl. If your game is good and they stay then the rewards would be massive

I played 3 games online and 1 offline.

The 3 online were pretty horrible. It felt a bit like SFV where they purposefully added a shit load of input delay to make online more consistent (at the detriment of reflexes). That would also explain why the game is so slow and why passing is glacial.

It's everything about last years version but worse. Much worse.

The game I played offline felt better. No much but a wee bit. I can't really say much more than you lot have. It's just dreadful.

I can see some potential in the game, but it will take a least a year to sort out. This feels like a very very early, first build. It's madness that they've released it. It's a mobile game. You can tell that.

This has been the trend with the last few releases as MyClub has got bigger and other modes are just left to rot. They just want to skip to the part where MyClub is the main mode and the whole experience is geared towards getting microtransaction cash for players like FUT.

They came out with some PR bullshit a few years ago about revolutionising Master League with interactive choices and all new cinematics.

It was verbatim the same ML as the year before with the some shit cutscenes plonked on top. They've also just lied to everyone with this game. Shocking.

Overall, fuck you Konami. They've been lying to the fans for years and this is just another insult. I fully expect it to go the way of MGS and Silent Hill and be dead in a year or two.

It is. It just doesn't play well for me and I don't feel in control of it properly and be able to pull off moves I could do in pes. The ai fucks you over as well.

Played about 50 odd minutes of one game, scored a couple of goals, quit, deleted.

Absolutely awful to play. Frame stuttering on a PS5 football game? Fuck right off. For a second it not having a 5 second delay on every button press almost made it look competent compared to this mind you.
